TIME and Statista have published the 2026 list of the “World’s Most Sustainable Companies”. Krones ranks among the top ten German companies and has climbed more than 150 places in the global comparison since 2025.
Since 2024, the news magazine TIME together with the market research company Statista has been analysing the sustainability performance of companies around the world. In a multi-stage process, aspects such as the quality of sustainability reporting, transparency towards stakeholders, environmental metrics as well as the actual impact of companies in the areas of climate and resource protection are assessed. The 750 companies that perform best are included in the “World’s Most Sustainable Companies” list.
Improved by more than 200 places since 2024
Krones has been part of the ranking from the very beginning and has improved significantly with each round of assessments. In 2024, the company entered at rank 456, before reaching rank 312 the following year and thus just making it into the upper half. In 2026, the upward trend continues: The latest list ranks Krones at 149. This places the company among the top 20 percent worldwide. Within Germany, Krones reached 7th place, putting it firmly in the top ten.
The ranking not only confirms the company’s own efforts. It also clearly demonstrates how many companies and people worldwide are committed to a future worth living in. And above all, that sustainability and economic viability are not mutually exclusive but have long gone hand in hand.
