Limited space, maximum logistics: System Logistics rethinks warehousing
As demands in the food and beverage industry evolve, compact and flexible storage solutions at production sites are gaining importance. System Logistics responds with its new compact warehouse – a standardised in-house solution offering high efficiency in minimal space. With a height of 7.5 metres and an optimised layout, it enables high storage density and throughput with minimal construction effort. The modular design allows fast commissioning, while the system operates with low complexity and minimal staffing. As a general contractor, System Logistics manages the entire project, ensuring efficient, future-ready intralogistics.
If you would like to learn more about various storage and intralogistics solutions, feel free to visit drinktec from September 15 to 19! You will find the System Logistics team at the Krones stand in Hall B6.

Competent contact for complex automation solutions
The Krones Group has been active in the field of automation in process technology since the early 1980s – and with this long-standing experience and broad expertise, Steinecker is now your competent contact for complex automation solutions.
With Botec F1, we offer a process control system that focuses on batch processes – making it ideal for breweries, beverage companies and dairies, as it enables them to control their batch-oriented production processes securely, reliably, reproducibly and thus sustainably. To date, over 3,500 Botec F1 systems have been delivered to breweries. Since 2023, Steinecker has also been serving smaller companies with the entry-level Botec Visu variant.
In 2024, Steinecker took over the* ILTIS* process control system from IST Systems Technology, thus expanding its automation offering with a second pillar. This opens up markets for Steinecker in other industries, such as water and waste water, healthcare and biotechnology.
If you also find yourself in one of the numerous markets and areas of application for our automation solutions, we invite you to visit us at drinktec in Munich. The Steinecker team looks forward to seeing you at the Krones stand in Hall B6.

Better inspection with AI
A trend that can no longer be stopped: artificial intelligence in inspection technology. It all started with the Linatronic AI, which was launched in 2020 as a completely new development. It was the first machine of its kind to be equipped with deep learning technology. This made it a pioneer in two respects:
First, it unlocked an entirely new level of precision in the inspection of empty glass bottles. Second, it paved the way for further AI applications in Krones’ inspection technology.
Which applications exactly? You’ll find out at the upcoming drinktec. Here’s a little teaser to spark your curiosity: The benefits of AI-supported inspection are no longer reserved for glass bottles – they can now also be applied to the inspection of cans and PET containers!

How we use artificial intelligence to achieve real added value for our customers
Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence, short AI – and so do we at Krones! Because we also use AI specifically to make our solutions smarter, and helping you to plan more efficiently, reduce complexity and set new standards in productivity and sustainability.
Depending on the individual goal we intend to achieve by the application of AI, we use various AI technologies such as time series analysis, computer vision or knowledge-based AI. This is how we not only make our machines, but your whole production process smarter! Besides some proven solutions such as Contiloop AI, Dynafill AI or Shopfloor Guidance, we are, of course, working on further deepening our activities in the field of AI. Stay tuned for drinktec where we will present further developments which all have one goal in common: a greater efficiency in the beverage and liquid food industry!
