Evoguard and Ampco: Strong partners in pump manufacturing
Ampco Pumps has been part of the Krones family since the beginning of the year. Ampco Pumps, based in Wisconsin, USA, is an American pump manufacturer with a long tradition, experience and high innovative strength: the company has been supplying the food and beverage industry in particular for almost 75 years.
The acquisition of Ampco Pumps was an important step for Krones in the further expansion of its component business in process technology. With the pumps from Ampco and the pump and valve technology from Krones' subsidiary Evoguard, Krones has a broad portfolio of all the important components for the process technology market - and is able to offer the complete programme consisting of centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps of various designs from a single source.
In recent months, the existing sales teams of both companies have been reorganised so that customers have a contact person for the entire Evoguard and Ampco product portfolio in their vicinity.
