You have the idea – we have the competence to support you in realising it! No matter if water, juice, milk or plant-based milk alternatives: Even the tiniest changes to the ingredients need to be well considered and thoroughly tested. That is exactly why Krones has in-house product development centres in which we can carry out tests and test new technologies. Together with Krones experts, you can improve your product here, optimise the taste, reduce the raw material consumption and much more.
In three competence centres with different orientations, in addition to sophisticated systems technology, our experienced technologists are at your disposal to develop new products or optimise existing recipes together with you.
Steinecker Technology Centre
In our Steinecker Technology Centre, it's all about the manufacturing of beer as well as precision fermentation and the large technology area of plant-based milk alternatives.
Process Technology Centre
After product manufacturing in the Steinecker Technology Center, the products can be further processed in the Process Technology Center using the Pilot UHT system. The focus here is primarily on the thermal product treatment.
Water Design Center
In the Water Design Centre we create the concept for recipes for individually remineralised waters and make mixing possible in collaboration with water sommeliers.
Remote service
Our product development centres are located in Germany. We will be happy to carry out the tests together with you on site. If you want to save time and emissions, we are happy to bring the product tests to you virtually and carry them out remotely. This allows you to continue product development flexibly and independently of your location.
